If we could link this to some of the themes we are thinking about for the final work that would be great.. some 'rooms' where people are in front of a projection o f birds taking off lakes.. (bit cheesy- but you may get the idea!)..
Sounds good Kate.. maybe google earth images tracing their routes, fly overs of their homeland etc..(not sure about situation with projectors at present!)

Having had a really good creative week in Great Yarmouth I'm looking forward to Portugal and have even organised a bit of Portuguese conversation coaching at my local Brazilian cafe!

I wanted to tell you about a new i saw in portuguese television!
There's this pianist (i think he is spanish) and he plays piano hung verticaly, and the lid of the piano is being used as a base to projections that are sincronized with the music he plays! i'll leave you here some videos!

I tried ringing you the other week, in case you were down in Yarmouth town :)
Hopefully you got the text with my number, either way don't worry.
I'm now rooting through all my Gold Arts Award stuff. It seems like it's going to be more practical to re-do it with the residency in Finland, or at least combining Avis, the Out There Festival and Finland.
I'm going through it all in the next couple of days so will get back to you soon probably with a direct email with a summary of my ideas.

- Hello Beverly! Been a bit flustered lately! Sorry for late reply! Are you about Thursday sometime as I would love to see you...Had an idea of something I would like to try to film, I know I have missed the deadline for the lighthouse project, but if there is any chance in collaborating I wold still love the opportunity. The idea I had was something I thought about in Portugal...a contrast of rigid and curvy movements - stiffness of a mime artist and the flowing movements of chinese ribbon...let me know what you think...
